Our membership is the heart of Dance Metro DC. The dancers, choreographers, teachers, dance administrators, and organizations in the DC area are the best in the field and we want to see you succeed.
When you become a member of Dance Metro DC, you are much more than a name on a directory. You are part of our DC dance family.
Through resource sharing, ticket, class, and studio rental discounts, professional development support, and networking and partnership opportunities, we help build sustainable dance careers.
Student $25
Dance artists enrolled full time in an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral program
- Membership is valid for one year
- Weekly newsletter filled with dance opportunities for the week
- Waived application fees for any of DMDC’s programming
- Unlimited access to DMDC programs, including exclusive networking events with member’s only pricing.
- Special discount on email promotion of your events to our 2,000 active regional email subscribers ($100 per email)
- Members-only access to job and audition opportunities
Individual $40
Independent, non-affiliated dance artists and choreographers
- Membership is valid for one year
- Free, unlimited event and opportunities submissions

Creative Leadership $150
Small/mid-sized dance companies and collectives; organizations that hire dance artists
- Membership is valid for one year
- Three Individual Memberships and all the benefits under that tier

- Unlimited access to DMDC programs including exclusive networking events with member’s only pricing
- Two free dedicated promotional emails per year

Institutional $300
Mid-sized/large dance companies; Mid-sized/large dance organizations that hire dance artists
