LSDT: Switch Summer Intensive

An event every day that begins at 10:00 am, repeating until August 6, 2021
The Light Switch Dance Theatre: Switch Summer Intensive (Hybrid Curriculum) will be held the first week in August at Capitol Hill Arts Workshop. Our focus is to provide a program that allows those accepted to enhance their mindful conditioning and improve upon what they have learned up until they join us. We look to add technical, performance, and choreographic skills to the Young Dancer’s toolkit in a nurturing and brave space.
Over the week, students take daily mindful conditioning and technique classes from our year-round Teaching Artists, as well as, Special Guest faculty. The day will end with Repertory and Composition.
Due to COVID-19, the LSDT intensive will be a Hybrid experience. To ensure the safety of our students and staff, all COVID-19 safety measures will be adhered to in regards to capacity, social distancing, face mask requirements, and temperature checks upon arrival.
Switch Summer Intensive: M-F, 10am-4pm
Switch Virtual Showcase: Saturday and Sunday
