BEYOND THE BASICS (Advancing Beginner) $20 per class.
90 minutes – In this class, dancers can expect a thorough warm-up, including cardio, stretching, technique, jazz vernacular, and conditioning work. From there we move on to across the floor and phrase work that pertains to the combination of the day. Each combination will revolve around the various pillars of jazz dance. A mixture of combinations from the early days of jazz to it’s evolving predecessors, dancers will be asked to think about not only technique & form, but character development! Recommendation: 2 years of previous dance experience.
