Adult Ballet Foundation with Jen

In this course, students will be introduced to the theory, vocabulary, and practice of the foundational principles of classical ballet. Using anatomically sound practices, students will learn the correct use of turnout, proper alignment and carriage of the body, coordination of the head, arms, and legs, balance, and the use of the classical line to create a harmonious effect. Musicality and artistry will also be emphasized. Students will participate in learning steps, exercises, and combinations of steps within the ballet lexicon to achieve an understanding of the founding principles of ballet.
