2022 Dance Educators Training Institute (DETI)

Join ClancyWorks Dance Company for Three Days of Dance Techniques, Self-care Practices and Community Building Activities.

This year’s facilitators include an esteemed group of professionals:

1.) Breai Michele, a Baltimore native exploring Black Dance History through West African Dances;
2.) Lisa Green, a social worker and dance educator passionate about restorative practices and collective healing through Afro-Brazilian movement and storytelling; and
3.) Kekoa and Pele Harman, a husband-and-wife duo traveling from Hawai’i to spread awareness about Indigenous culture, language and traditional practices, including Polynesian (Hula) dance techniques.

In-person participation limited to 18 participants and virtual participation is capped at 100.
