The Kennedy Center Ballet Class Series offers advanced high school students the unique opportunity to learn from nationally and internationally recognized ballet companies performing this season at the John F. In addition, students will be given opportunities for a behind-the-scenes glimpse of a performance career through attending optional open rehearsals, the option to take additional contemporary dance master classes for a discounted rate and meeting and receiving priority and discounted registration for a NEW audition workshop that will happen in winter 2019. More details about the winter audition workshop will be given at the Ballet Class Series audition.

Admission to the series is by audition only, chosen by a diverse panel of ballet professionals. Dancers entering grades 9-12 who have taken at least 4 years of ballet are welcome to apply.
