Dance/USA, the national service organization for professional dance, announced its first-ever Fellowship Program in 2012. Committed to leadership development in the professional field of dance, Dance/USA seeks a 2015 Fellow to work in the organization’s Membership Department.
This opportunity will connect the Fellow to the national dance community, raise his/her awareness of dance in America and field-wide trends, and provide him/her with practical work experience. This Fellowship is geared toward early career arts administrators who are motivated, curious, posses a strong work ethic, and have a special interest in dance.
The Membership Fellow will work 30 hours per week. During your Fellowship, you will be integral to the operations of Dance/USA’s Membership Department by communicating with members and non-members on a regular basis, serving as point of contact for one or two special projects within the Department, and assisting the Director of Member Services in hiring a fall intern. Additionally, you will have an opportunity to write an article for our e-Journal, From the Green Room.
To apply, submit the following items to Melissa Lineburg, executive administrator, with the subject line of “Membership Fellowship.” If you have questions, please direct them to Melissa.

-Letter of recommendation (1; different than your references).
