Dance Is The Answer 2010: April 15 - May 2

Dance/MetroDC is proud to present the third annual Dance Is the Answer, a weeklong festival of dance activities in the DC metro area!
Through DITA, Dance/MetroDC encourages dance-related activities in a focused calendar arc that coincides with National Dance Week to create a swell of awareness and value for dance in the metropolitan region.  Through the engagement of existing supporters and potentially new dance enthusiasts and audiences within ten days of spot-lighted activities, DITA creates a grander perspective for the on-going classes, performances and events offered by the region’s dance artists throughout the year. Dance artists, arts organizations, theatre presenters and service organizations all benefit year-round through the opportunities of a combined public message about dance.

Free classes/performances/workshops/open rehearsals will be available from a wide variety of metro-area organizations. Whether you are new to dance or have been dancing since childhood, Dance Is The Answer is a great way to take part in a physically and emotionally enriching art form. We hope you'll find that Dance Is The Answer for you!

Check back soon & often for a comprehensive listing of classes, workshops, performances open rehearsals and MORE!

For Artists/Dancers/Companies/Arts Organizations/Schools:
