This Privacy Policy covers Dance/MetroDC's, (a branch office of Dance/USA, the national service organization for professional dance) treatment of personally identifiable information that Dance/MetroDC collects when you join any of the Dance/MetroDC mailing lists, Listserves or visit the Dance/MetroDC website.

Information Collection and Use
Dance/MetroDC collects personally identifiable information when you join a Dance/MetroDC mailing list, Listserve or when you visit the Dance/MetroDC website. When you join a Dance/MetroDC mailing list or Listserve, we may ask for your name and/or address and/or e-mail address and/or phone number. Once you have joined a Dance/MetroDC mailing list or Listserve you are not anonymous to us. Dance/MetroDC also automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, and the page(s) you visited. Dance/MetroDC uses this information for two general purposes: to communicate with members of the local professional dance community and other dance-interested individuals, and to assess which areas of the Dance/MetroDC website are most and least frequently used in order to plan future upgrades to the site.
