The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation
The Morris & Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation is the largest independent grantmaking foundation focused exclusively on the Washington Metropolitan area. The Foundation is the legacy of Morris Cafritz, one of Washington’s leading commercial and residential real estate builders from the early 1920’s to the mid-1960’s. Morris Cafritz was an outstanding civic leader known for his generosity. He established the Foundation in 1948. His wife, Gwendolyn, one of Washington’s leading hostesses in the post World War II years, was President of the Foundation from 1964 to 1988. Their eldest son, Calvin, currently Chairman, President and CEO, said, "In keeping with my father’s wishes, we have continued to broaden the scope of our grants' program to meet the ever-changing needs of our metropolitan area."

The Eugene and Agnes E. Meyer Foundation
Established in 1944 by Eugene Meyer, an owner and publisher of The Washington Post, and his wife Agnes E. Meyer, the Meyer Foundation is one of the Washington area's oldest and most experienced private grantmaking foundations.
The Meyer Foundation strengthens people and their communities by investing in Greater Washington's visionary nonprofits.

DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities
Since 1968, the District of Columbia Commission on the Arts and Humanities (DCCAH) has developed and promoted local artists, organizations, and activities. The Mission of the DCCAH is to provide grants, programs and education activities that encourage diverse artistic expressions and learning opportunities so that all District of Columbia residents and visitors can experience the rich culture of our city. Marta Vizueta
A dynamic and engaging performer, instructor and choreographer in the DC area, Marta Vizueta is recognized for her elegance, technique and unique voice. She blends flamenco, modern Indian dance, and afro-Cuban dance in her contemporary fusion projects, while maintaining a firm grasp of Egyptian belly dance in more traditional works. She is the founder and former co-director of DCTribal, a regional network of Tribal and fusion belly dancers in the region.
