Founded in 2000 by Debra K. Floyd, FloydProject Dance Company works to establish a support system for women through the influence of dance. FloydProject is committed to choreographic study of diverse experiences, cultivation of performance and training excellence, and development of community outreach programs. The company strives to build positive images, raise audience awareness of broad issues and empower people to uphold women and their aspirations; thereby fostering their motto, "Dancing for EmpowHERment."
